What We Manage

Technical and crew — one team, one point of contact.

Most ship owners deal with a technical manager on one side and a manning agent on the other, with gaps between them that no one owns. Seavantek combines both under a single shore-based team, which means when a crew competency issue has a technical consequence — or when a maintenance delay affects crew rotation — the same team handles both.

Technical management covers planned maintenance systems, procurement, regulatory compliance (ISM, MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS), class survey coordination, dry docking, and 24/7 availability for operational emergencies. Crew management is conducted under RPSL Licence No. 1027, with placements across all ranks on bulk carriers, tankers, and MPP vessels.

Vessel types currently under management: bulk carriers, product tankers, and multipurpose (MPP) vessels. Total managed fleet approximately 4,00,000 DWT. Seafarer database: 50,000+ qualified crew across all ranks and nationalities.

How It Works

From first conversation to fleet under management.

01

Vessel Review

We review existing maintenance records, class status, crew documentation, and current OpEx. No assumptions — we assess the actual starting position.

02

Onboarding

Management agreement signed. We take over PMS, procurement accounts, crew rotation, and regulatory files. Transition is designed to be invisible to the vessel.

03

Daily Management

24/7 superintendent coverage. Monthly reporting. Procurement handled directly. Class and flag compliance maintained. Every operational decision documented.

04

Monthly Reporting

Full OpEx report against budget. Crew status. Upcoming surveys and renewals. Any open items from PSC or class. Straight numbers, no summaries.

Why Seavantek

What makes the difference.

🏗

Chief Engineer-led

The managing director holds Chief Engineer certification with 12 years at sea. Every technical decision is reviewed by someone who has held rank on the same vessel types.

🔮

RPSL No. 1027

Full RPSL licence for placement of Indian seafarers. 50,000+ officers and ratings in the database across all ranks, nationalities, and vessel types.

✅

One team, two functions

Technical and crew under the same team removes the gap that exists when a technical manager and manning agent work independently of each other.

🔎

Primary source discipline

We read the maintenance record, the survey report, and the class certificate — not the previous manager's summary of them.

💻

Built-in-house systems

Our crew CRM and accounts system were built by our own MD. We control the data, the reporting format, and the response time when something needs fixing.

📈

Transparent reporting

Monthly OpEx reports at invoice level. No management fee hidden inside procurement markups. What you pay is what it costs.
